Jhene Aiko is a famous singer and songwriter. She is known for her soulful voice and her lyrics that express raw emotions and real feelings. Aiko has had a hard life with a lot of different challenges. Her home was burnt down at a young age which resulted in being homeschooled. She went through a divorce, and many deaths throughout her life. Jhene Aiko says she has always been fighting this mental war within herself, doing so while she has a platform and people watching her every move. Instead of hiding her emotions behind closed doors, she releases her emotions through her music, validating so many people's emotions and helping others not feel alone. Growing up with a hard life, she could have easily stayed the same and lived the life she was designed to live. "Shame on you for staying the same" she says in one of her songs. Shame on you. We all have a dream, for a reason. Do not be like everyone else, be the odd man out, and take the risks nobody else is willing to take. Be like Jhene Aiko.

The owners, we grew up in a small town where everyone pretty much settles for the life that they are designed to live and stay the same person since childhood. We chose this quote as a reminder to not be like everyone else. Don't dim your light. Don't be like everyone else and stay the same. Create your dreams and go achieve them. This life is not for the weak, change will come, but it is only bringing you closer to the person you have always wanted to be. Don't give up on yourself.
